Passed away very peacefully on Thursday April 17, 2014, at Lady Diana Isaac Retirement Village Hospital, Christchurch; in his 78th year.

Beloved husband of Pauline, dearly loved and adored father of Nicky and father-in-law of Mike Rutherford (Oxford, North Canterbury), the most wonderful Grandad of William, and James Skeggs, and Emma, and George Rutherford.





A service and celebration of Ewen's life will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 12.30pm on Wednesday April 23,
followed by private cremation.

Respected colleague and good friend of the Barnes family for over 60 years, his dedication and skill as an artist, screen printer, and clarinetist will be remembered with affection by many people.
