Peacefully at home, on 17 April 2014, surrounded by her family and love.

Cherished wife of Martin and adored mother of Ellen, Christopher and Sophie.

Special thanks to our many friends and family who have helped and supported us all over this journey, Anne O'Donnell and the staff at Wellington Hospital (Oncology) and Te Omanga Hospice for their care and compassion.

A rosary for Jan will be held at 7:00pm on Tuesday, 22 April and a service celebrating Jan's life will be held on Wednesday, 23 April at 10:30am at Sacred Heart Church, Britannia Street, Petone, Lower Hutt.
A private cremation will follow the service.

Beloved daughter of Bette and Bill, and much loved sister to Patricia, Ann, Mary Lou, Bernice, Fliss, Ged, Steve, Mike and Viv; sister-in-law to Mark, Butch, Andrea, Jo, and Craig. Beloved Aunty to Matt and Hana, Kris, Rachael and Chris, Sam, Aleisha, William, Tom, Kimberley, Andrew, Luke and Naomi, Josh, Amelia, Alex, Kristin, Rachel and Nick. Great Aunty to Tim, Isla, Amelia, Hunter, Holly and Charlie.
Courageous, loving and sweetly gracious to the end.
