On October 31, 2013, peacefully at Montecillo Veterans Home and Hospital with family at his side; aged 88 years.

Dearly loved husband of the late Yvonne, beloved father and father-in-law of Euan and Margaret, Tony and Debbie, Karen and Bruce Costello, Glenda and partner Malcolm, and Chris and the late Hillary McLaren, and a proud Grandad to his ten grandchildren. Loved partner of the late Jean Anderson and friend of Barry Gray. Family thank the staff of Montecillo for their help and care of Lou over the last two years.

A service for Lou will be held in the Hope and Sons Chapel, corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 2.30pm on Monday November 4, followed by private cremation.
