In her 87th year.

Loved wife of the late Edmond (Ted) Gabites.

Devoted mother of Shirley and the late Neville of Levin, Sue & Paul (Palmerston North), Mark & Linda (Brisbane), and Michael & Catherine (Brunei).

A special Nana Joy to Jacqui and Todd, Dianna and Andrew, Ellen and Adam, and Alice.

An extra special Great-Nana Joy to Matthew and Tillie, Lily and Darcey, Bella and Liberty and Jack.

Sister of June and Elizabeth (both of England).

A service to celebrate Joy’s life will be held at St Patrick’s Cathedral, Broadway, Palmerston North on her birthday, Thursday 7th October at 2:00pm followed by a private cremation at the Horowhenua Crematorium, Levin.

In lieu of floral tributes donations to Arohanui Hospice would be appreciated and may be left in the church foyer.
