On 18th April 2010 peacefully at Roseneath Carterton in the presence of family. In his 92nd year.
Beloved husband of the late Oeky.
Loved father and father-in-law of John and Jill, and Eleonore Pitt.
Loved Grandad of Richard, Vanessa, Juley, Heather, James, and Phil. Loved Opa of Joel, Nicholas, Lucas, and Ben. A loved great Grandad of his 9 great grandchildren.
A special thanks to Dr Craig Cherry and all at Roseneath for their compassion and wonderful care.
In lieu of flowers a donation to Red Cross New Zealand, PO Box 12140, Thorndon, Wellington 6144, would be appreciated and may be left in the church foyer.
A Service for William will be celebrated in St Mary’s Catholic Church, Cnr King Street and High Street south Carterton, on Monday 26th April 2010 at 11.00 a.m. followed by burial at the Akatarawa Cemetery arriving approximately 1.45pm.
