On May 26, 2009 peacefully at St Andrews Home, Dunedin; In his 83rd year.

Dearly loved husband of Valma, much loved father and father-in-law of Margaret, Jane and Red, Alec and Nicky, Morris and Anna, loved brother of Gwenyth and Special father to Louise. Loved Poppa of Siobhan; Esther; David, and Erin; Eliza, Sally, and Robbie, great grandpoppa of Lily, Hayden, and Noah.

A service to celebrate Eric's life will be held in Iona Presbyterian Church, Mount Street, Port Chalmers at 1pm on Tuesday June 2 followed by private cremation.
