On April 17, 2009 peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the Otago Community Hospice; aged 70 years.

Dearly loved and loving husband of Kensie, much loved father of Alister, Phillipa (Pip), and Gregory; cherished friend of Rachel, and Mike; loving grandpa of Ashley, Callum, and Kearne; Jack, and Tom.

A service to celebrate Richard's life will be held in St John's Anglican Church, Highgate, Dunedin at 11.30am on Thursday April 23, followed by private cremation.

In lieu of flowers donations for the Otago Community Hospice would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
