Huatahi Georgie Eldridge (nee Te Rito) passed away peacefully this morning at Whitby aged 80 years old. She was the beloved wife of Carl (deceased); mother of Daphne and Vanessa; Nanny of Tama, Finley and Lewis; and puna aroha for Nuisha, Te Aira, and Maywin.

Huatahi was one of 13 children and 2 moko raised by Buster and Te Murirangawhenua Te Rito, sister of Hinei, Dardi, Miniata, Karetu, Kani, Albert, Pirihira, Waipa, Te Arohanoa, Whiti, Pareiha, Lyn and mokopuna Joseph and Harry.

The whanau will travel with their kuia to Omahu Marae, 1857 Korokipo Road, Omahu arriving at 4.30pm.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday 24 April from 10.00am at Omahu Marae.
