Priestess Elena Speranta passed away peacefully on March 17, aged 80 and is re-united with her husband, the late Rev Fr. Gheorghe Speranta 

in the love of The Lord Jesus Christ.

Daughter of Apostol and Maria Campeanu.
Loving mother of Cristian and Daniel Speranta.
Beloved mother-in-law of Cecilia and Nicola Speranta.
Devoted grandmother of Andrew, Elliot, James and Jasmin Speranta.
Sister of Cecilia Pricope and Sister-in-law of Constantin and Lucica Speranta.
Auntie to Marius, Isabella, Sandu, Daniel and Diana.

Special thanks to Fr. Nicolae and Mariana Floroiu, Angela, Costel, Sylvia, other family and friends who provided help and comfort to Elena.

A service will be held at the Church of St Mary, 511 Adelaide Rd, Berhampore, Wellington on Saturday 30th March at 11am followed by a burial at Karori Cemetery.
