Powell, Amy Louise (nee Gomm), aged 40

Peacefully with her family by her side on 27 January 2024.

Very special and much loved mum of Scarlett and Dallas (and Monkey and Belle), wife of Matt, daughter of Andy and Linda, sister to Bonnie and Tim, aunt of Hazel and Fox. Adored by the Powells, and all of her family and friends worldwide.

Amy lived her life conquering every mountain and with much love and fun. She was brave, determined, ruthlessly organised and always so beautiful.

Amy’s family would like to thank the staff at Wellington Hospital who treated her, particularly Johnny and Kate. They would also like to thank Mary Potter hospice for their care of Amy and her wider family.

A service for Amy will be held at the Karori Main Crematorium Chapel, Rosehaugh Avenue, Karori on Saturday 3 February 2024 at 10am.

Amy asked that people please wear some purple or sparkles.
