Suddenly passed away on June 29, 2023.

Dearly loved partner of Jim Culbert and dearly loved mother of Rouru and Janette Metua, Nooroa and Bruce Westland, much loved Grandma of Annika and Jack, Chenoa, Tyler, Natasha and Ani, Alana and Jesse, Isaiah, Ngatokorua and Chelsea, Jake, Matt and Sequioa, and Great-grandma of Karalee, Ava, Abel, Angelo, Alexander, Amalie, Xavier, and the late AJ, and MJ.

Loved sister of the late Metua Pokotea, sister-in-law of Paula Le Compte, Aunty of Elise Le Compte, Desmond, Maria, Cleave Pokotea and sister-in-law of Ann Pokotea, loved by the wider family and friends. Mama you were a force of nature; our whanau has lost our mama, but heaven has gained an angel, our hearts are broken, you will be greatly missed.

In our hearts and memories forever, rest in parataito.

A service for Poko will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, 523 Andersons Bay Road, at 11.00am, on Wednesday July 5, followed by private cremation.
