Azzarelli, Piero (The mad Axeman from Rinascimento) – Peacefully passed away on 4 May 2022 at Wellington Hospital.

Loved father of Tracy & Damond, Sarah, Michael & Charlotte, and David & Amii. Caring Nono of Eva and Joseph, Luca, Roy, Rex, and Seth.

The family will always be grateful for the love and care given to Piero on his final journey, from the beautiful people at the MAPU Ward at Wellington Hospital.

A funeral to celebrate Piero’s life will be held at St Francis de Sales Catholic Church, Cnr Mersey & Clyde St, Island Bay on Saturday 7 May 2022 at 1pm, followed by a private cremation.
