Here is a quote that Larry often lived by:
"Good days bring happiness and bad days bring experiences”

It has been so very hard in these times, in lock down due to Covid-19 but we have respected the rules, even though we didn't want to. We were very blessed to be able to have a small service for Larry, it was very beautiful, a gathering of remembrance will be held at a later date, to be advised.

We are all going to miss him so much, he was an amazing, intelligent, cheeky, loving man and much more. Love from all his family xxxx

Messages from his beloved Daughters

I hit the jackpot having you as my Dad. You worked hard to provide a secure and loving place to call home, fun experiences, a full belly and a reasonably decent supply of ice creams.
You valued fairness, had a strong sense of integrity, a huge heart, great sense of humour, generous, bright and looked on the positive side of life. The way your blue eyes sparkled with cheekiness and fun will always stay with me.
You loved your family, your many friends and our Mum for 60 years and that love was returned.
Thank you for everything, you did your best for everyone and you made a difference to our world with your care, strength and love.
Forever in my heart, I love you Dad.

I have been so lucky to have had my dad in my life for as long as I have. It was a privilege to get to know him as a person as I got older. Listening to his many stories and opinions, which were many.
Family was everything to dad. He always had time for us as children taking us to our sporting clubs and many days spent lazying at the beach.
He loved his grand and great grandkids and time with grandpop was always full of fun activities, chocolate and ice creams. Family celebrations are many, with dad always asking,"what's for dessert."
He was a people's person like me, talking to anyone and interested in what they said. We had a lot of fun adventures ticking off dad's bucket list theses last few years and many local outings exploring our beautiful surroundings, cafés and Tip Top shops."
Love you, miss you - my Dad XOX

John 3.16
16 For God so loved the world that he took his one and only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
1 John 5: 18-21
18 We know that anyone born of God does not continue to sin; the one who was born of God keeps him safe, and the evil one cannot harm him.
19 We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one.
20 We know also that the son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true. And we are in him who is true - even in his son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.
21 Dear children, keep yourselves from idols.
Love Sue XX

Message from his Sister
I am Joan Brinfield, Larry’s sister. The brother I had been searching for all my life, it was only after another family tragedy that we were brought together, I was 58, Larry was 60. I was so excited at last I was going to see him for the very first time. Larry was a marvellous person and I loved him. I cannot think of not having my brother around.
R.I.P Larry, you will be missed.
