CARTY, John Patrick -  Born Sligo, Ireland 02/03/1931 – 20/6/2018 at Wellington Hospital.

As is the custom in our family we gather together for special occasions and this was no exception.

We were all with John to love, guide and comfort him on his last journey in life and may he now rest in peace.

Dearly loved husband of Janice. Loved father of Catherine & Andrew, Josephine (dec) & Simon, Patricia & David, Marian & Huia and Maureen.

Loved grandfather of Connor, Christy, Eilish-Rose, Niamh, Laura, Ciaran, Jacob, Shaun, Aaron and Jordan, Pearl and Mollie, Great Grandfather of Mason.

In Lieu of flowers donations to Wellington Free Ambulance PO Box 601, Wellington would be appreciated and may be left at the service.

Rosary will be recited at the family home 22 June, 7pm.

A Funeral Mass to celebrate John’s life will be held at The Church of St Francis de Sales, 173 Clyde Street, Island Bay on Saturday 23 June, 11am, followed by a private family burial.
