DOLBY, Katherine Charlotte

January 18, 1938 - March 22, 2018.

Much loved and treasured mother of Jenny, and David Grimmett, wife of the late David McKenzie, mother-in-law of Lisa Perniskie, and nana Kat of Jasper, Hollie, and Sam, sister of Alex, favourite aunt, grandmother and much more.  

Katherine’s care and attention to her extended family and friends, love of adventure, passion for the garden and joy of feeding the birds will linger in our memories of her,  the twinkle in her eyes when she laughed will be sadly missed. Thank you to the staff at Summerset at Bishopscourt for making sure Katherine was comfortable in her last days.

A funeral service to celebrate Katherine’s life will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street, Dunedin at 12.30pm on Tuesday March 27, followed by private cremation.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Otago Art Society would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
