On March 22, 2018, at Dunedin Hospital, after a courageous battle with cancer; aged 63 years.

Dearly loved father of Robyn, and Kelly, loved eldest son of Joan and Murray^ (Broad Bay), loved brother and brother-in-law of Ally and Phil McDouall (Twizel), Clive (Singapore), and Debbie (Broad Bay), loved uncle of Daniel and Karen, Melissa^, James, and Tim; Ruby, and Neive, and loved great uncle of Sophie, Jasmine, and Zoe; and wee Oliver. (^denotes deceased).

A service for Lance will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street, Dunedin at 3.00pm on Wednesday March 28, followed by private cremation.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Milton SAR would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
