On February 17, 2018, suddenly but peacefully at Dunedin Hospital; in his 79th year.

Dearly loved husband and friend of Estelle, much loved dad of Darryl and Mely (Wellington), Vanessa and Henri (Christchurch). Beloved son of the late Jim and Peg Longstaffe.

A service for Barry will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 12.30pm on Thursday February 22, followed by private cremation.
