CADOGAN, Michael John (Sean)

It is with sadness we announce the expected but sudden and peaceful death of Sean on September 1, 2017.

Sean slipped quietly away at home in Dunedin, with family. Cherished husband of Moira (nee McCormack), loved and loving Dad and father-in-law of Bernard and Jacqueline, Clare and Andrew, Paul and Heather, Patrick and Rosie, Annette and Simon, Michael and Penny, Peter, Frances, Fiona and Chad. Precious Grandpa of all his grandchildren and great-grandchild.

“When Irish eyes are smiling, sure it’s like a morning spring. In the lilt of Irish laughter, you can hear the angels sing.”

Many thanks to Dr Marie Neylon, Dr Tim Bolter and the staff at Dunedin North Medical Centre, Dr G Wilkins and staff at Dunedin Hospital, the carers of the RDNS, St John Ambulance, and all others who helped care for Sean.

“Requiescat in pace”

Requiem Mass will be celebrated in Holy Name Catholic Church, Great King Street, Dunedin, at 11am on Wednesday September 6, the funeral then leaving for the Green Park Cemetery.

Rosary will be held in the Church at 5pm on Tuesday evening.

Messages to 3 Bonnington Street, Normanby, Dunedin 9010.
