GERONDIS, George:

Born 25 November 1925 in Kandila, Greece, died peacefully Sunday morning, 25 June 2017.

Beloved husband of Eudokia, father and father in law to Angelo and Theona, John and Sarah, Labro and Gretchen, Costa and Lucy. Loving Pappou to Gemma, Estelle, Lisa, Haley, Jason, Zoe, Matthew and Kea. Much loved brother to Anastasia (dec), Andrew (dec) and Joanna (dec).

In lieu of flowers donations to the Church, Wellington Free Ambulance or Wellington Regional Hospital would be appreciated and may be left at the service.

A funeral service for George will be held at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral, "O Evangelismos tis Theotokou" (Annunciation of the Birth giver of God), 3 Hania Street, Mt Victoria, Wellington on Thursday, 29 June at 11am, followed by interment at Makara Cemetery.
