RIVERS, Eric David:

Of Rivers Pharmacy, Miramar died peacefully on Sunday, May 7 2017 at Te Hopai Home and Hospital, Wellington after a long illness, suffered with grace and humour.

Loved husband of the late Val, loving and wonderful father of Mel, Steve, Paul and Wendy, fun Pop to Ruby, Georgia, Nick, Ella, Vita, and Yusuke.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated and can be made at www.alzheimers.org.nz.

Messages to the ‘Rivers Family’ may be left in Eric’s tribute book on this page or posted c/- PO Box 14-366, Kilbirnie 6241.

Thanks to the Te Hopai staff for their wonderful care of Eric and also the Alzheimer’s Society, Chelsea Club, Barb Reddish and all who helped care for him and his family.

A private funeral will be held.

You are invited to join us in celebrating Eric’s life at the Miramar Golf Club, 1 Stewart Duff Dr, Miramar on Friday, 12 May from 3pm. Please bring your memories.
