Late of Roseneath and Paraparaumu Beach. MSc Hons, M Inst. of Physics, MIEE, MIERE, MIPENZ. RNZAF Reg 429400, Superintending Engineer BCNZ.

Son of the late Herbert and Gladys Carter; youngest brother of the late Herb, Colin and Arthur; loved husband of the late Betty; loved father of Valerie (Wellington) and Brian (Auckland); loved Grandad Jack of Elsa and Aimee; loved uncle, great uncle and loved Jack of Clive, Ruth, Jan, David (dec), Tui, Lucy, Sally, Joan and Richard.

Thank you for the excellent care provided over the last 5 and a half years by all staff of Huntleigh Rest Home and Te Hopai Hospital.

A service to celebrate Jack's life will be held at the Karori Main Crematorium Chapel, Rosehaugh Avenue, Karori on Thursday 4 May 2017 at 11am. Thereafter private cremation.
