AITKEN, John Earl (Jack)

On February 23, 2017, peacefully in his sleep at Marne Street Hospital, Dunedin; in his 77th year.

Loved and cherished husband of Suz, beloved Dad and friend of Sharon, Tanya and Adrian, John and Sue, Darlene, Corey, Ang and Jacky, Carl and Kumi, and Riki and Kaylene, loved Grandad and “Gan-Gan” of his 16 grandchildren, and loved Great-grandad of his 9 great-grandchildren. Jack’s family express their gratitude for the loving care and devotion shown by the staff of Marne Street Hospital.

A celebratrion of Jack’s life will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street, Dunedin at 12.30pm on Tuesday February 28, followed by private cremation.

In lieu of flowers donations to The Neurological Foundation would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
