On February 15, 2017 peacefully at Leslie Groves Rest Home, Dunedin; in her 93rd year.

Dearly loved wife of the late Len, dearly loved mother and mother-in -law of Mary and John Berrill (Auckland), Martin and Shona (Makikihi), Kevin (Brisbane), Brendan and Sandy (Dunedin), Angela and John Duncan (Christchurch). Cherished grandma, great grandma and aunt of all her grandchildren , great grandchildren and her niece. Loved sister and sister-in- law of the late Dave, John and Bev Coffey and sister-in-law of the late Molly, Jack, Norman and Phyllis Shea.

A service to farewell Rita will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street, Dunedin at 10:00am on Friday February 24, followed by private cremation.
