HICKS, Trevor James. Of Carterton.
On 15th January 2017 peacefully at his home, surrounded by family. Aged 71 years.
Dearly loved husband of Viv for 47 years.
Loved and adored father and father-in-law of Michael and Rebecca, Kylie and Iain Oldcorn, Lisa and Gavin Masters.
Cherished Grandad of Holly; Jack, Laura, and Ben; Emily, Hayley, and Blake.
Loved and respected by Nicola, Sam, and Katie; Isabella and Caleb.

In lieu of flowers a donation to the Life Flight Trust, PO Box 14 448 Wellington 6241 would be appreciated and may be left in the church foyer.
A service to celebrate Trevor’s life will be held in St Mark’s Anglican Church, Carterton on Thursday 19th January 2017 at 2.00pm followed by private cremation.

Loved twin brother of Lyall (deceased) and brother-in-law of Gillian.
Loved brother and brother-in-law of the late Maureen and Doug Johnston, Maurice (dec) and Valerie, Alan (dec), Ian and Isobel.
Loved brother-in-law of Pat and Colin Porter, Ray and April Udy.
A loved uncle to all his nieces and nephews.

Acknowlegement
Viv, Michael and Rebecca, Kylie & Iain, Lisa and Gavin and their families wish to express their heartfelt thanks to relatives, friends, neighbours and work colleagues who supported them in various ways during Trevor’s recent illness and at the time of his passing.
We have appreciated the lovely personal messages of sympathy, cards, letters, flowers, food, phone calls, visits, tributes, donations made to the Life Flight Trust, and the presence of so many at the service.
A special thanks to Dr Craig Cherry and the Doctors and staff at Wairarapa Hospital, Dr Anup George and staff of wards 3 & 5 North Wellington Hospital, the South Wairarapa District Nurses, Iain McLeod oncology nurse, and the Wellington Free Ambulance personnel for their care of Trevor; to Rev Jenny Henson for her comforting guidance; and to Bryan Styles, the Carterton Volunteer Fire Brigade members and all Fire Service Personnel and Gold Star members for such a fitting tribute.
We are comforted in the knowledge that Trevor has touched the lives of so many wonderful people and as it may not be possible to thank you all individually please accept this as a personal acknowledgement of our sincere appreciation.
