Father and father in law of Sharon and Allan, Vivian and Jeff, Carol, Laurence, Glenn, Nicholas and Lyndelle. Grandfather and great grandfather to his eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

A service to celebrate John's life will be held at the Whenua Tapu Crematorium Chapel, Airlie Road, Plimmerton on Friday 28 October 2016 at 1pm followed by private cremation.
