Dearest husband and soul mate of Trish, dearly loved son of the late Selwyn and Olive Shaw, son-in-law of the late Richard and Joyce Ahlfeld, brother and brother-in-law of Tom and Suzie, Stewart and the late Arlene Booth, Bill and Kay, brother-in-law of Denise and the late John Ahlfeld McKelvey, Carl and Judith Ahlfeld and a loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews.

A service for Ian will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 12.30pm on Friday October 21, followed by private cremation. Messages to 60 Hilton Road, Highcliff, Dunedin 9013.
