Dearly loved husband, tramping mate and treasured companion of Christine.
Dearly loved son of Doreen Officer and the late Jack Guthardt.
Loved brother of Evon and the late Brian. Brother in law of Gordon Grigg, Pat and John Bartosh, and Fay Guthardt. Loved uncle of all his nephews and nieces.

A service to celebrate John's life will be held at Petone Rugby Clubrooms, Udy Street, Petone on Monday 7 September 2015 at 2.00pm followed by private cremation.
