On August 21, 2015, peacefully at Yvette Williams Retirement Village, Dunedin, with family by his side; in his 101st year. Loved son of the late Karol and Jozefa Adamczyk (Suchedniow, Kielce, Poland), loved husband of the late Patricia, and the late Olive, loved father and father-in-law of Adela, and Robin (Canberra) , Christof and Julie, (U.S.A), Ingrid and Robyn (Dunedin), and the late Mark, loved Grandad of Patricia, her husband Maurice, and Casey, and loved “Big Nonno John” of Marco, and Aman.
Family thank the staff of Frances Hodgkins Retirement Village and Yvette Williams Retirement Village for their care and support of Jan in achieving his 100th milestone.


Requiem Mass will be celebrated in St Joseph's Cathedral, Rattray Street, Dunedin at 1.00pm on Friday August 28, followed by private cremation.
