On March 25, 2015, after a long illness, at Dunedin Hospital, with family at her side.

Loved wife of Gerry, loved Mum of Mike, and Chris, loved sister, aunty and friend of many.
Family thank the staff of the ISIS centre, the Otago Community Hospice, and the staff of Dunedin Hospital for the outstanding care shown for Irene and her family.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
