PAYNE, Mei-Anne (NGAARA NGATAI WHAREPAPA PHARES) - passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving Whanau.

Dearly loved and Adored wife of Les. Mei was his best friend for 43 wonderful years. Mother of Shannon (Porky), Daniel (Bruiser), their partners Leanne and Davinnia. Second Mum to Bee-Dub, Mata Raka, and many other whangai. Sister of Wharepapa, Fred, Isabelle, Donna, Kakuia, Edward, Val, Tamahae and Jo Jo. Sister-in-law of Graham (G.P), Jack, Charlotte (Aunt Char) and Gary. Aunty to many and loved Noni of Isabella and Jacob (Australia) and nana to extended mokos.

RIP my pumpkin. You will be with me forever (Your Pooch).

In lieu of flowers donations to the Cancer society would be appreciated and may be left at the service.

A celebration of Mei-Anne's life will be held at the Church of St Joseph, Brougham Street, Mount Victoria on Monday 1 December at 11.00am, thereafter private cremation
