STONE, Nancy Bell (Norma) - Passed away suddenly on 18 November 2014 in her 91st year.

Norma battled Parkinson's for a long time with courage and dignity. Much loved wife of the late Arthur. Devoted and beloved mother and mother-in-law of Martin and the late Marion of Waihi, Robin and Kathy, and Elizabeth and Mike of Wellington. Loved and eldest sister of the late Evelyn, the late Annabelle, and the late June, Norma, Sheila, and Wendy, and step-sister of Robert (all of UK). Dearly loved grandmother of Evelyn of Katikati, Martin (Marty) of Tauranga, Tatiana (Tanya) and Mikhail (Misha) of Wellington. Great-grandmother of Cameron and Victoria of Katikati. Loved companion and dear friend of Keith.

Norma's sense of humour, caring spirit, and thoughtfulness touched all who knew her.

Norma's family are grateful for all the expressions of love and thought for Norma from friends, residents, and visitors, nurses, carers and management at Mt Victoria Lifecare and we thank the staff for their care of Norma for the past 2 years.

A celebration of Norma's life was held in Wellington on 21 November, followed by a private cremation.
