Hallett, Jo - It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jo Hallett 22.7.28 - 26.10.2014, peacefully at the age of 86 in Wellington Hospital with family at her side.

She emigrated to NZ in 2007 to be close to her family and quickly became an active member of the local Seatoun community. She was a devoted wife to Captain Sydney Hallett (deceased) of the Royal Navy and loving mother to Nick Hallett. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends and leaves behind her son, her sister Madge, daughter-in-law Jessica and her grandchildren, Fraser, Bronny, Elspeth and Lorna.

The family would like to thank all the wonderful staff at Te Hopai Rest Home and at Wellington Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations please to her favourite charity World Vision NZ would be welcomed and may be left at the service.

A service for Jo will be held at The Pines, The Esplanade, Houghton Bay on Wednesday 5 November 2014 at 11am followed by a private burial.
