SCARLETT Frederick (Fred) - Peacefully on Saturday 23 August at Te Hopai Home & Hospital after a long illness, aged 80 years.

Dearly loved husband of Rae (nee Warwick). Dearly loved Father of Warwick, Robert and Joanne Scarlett. Dearly loved Boo and Grandpa of Bailey, Riley and William Scarlett. Loved son of the late Nita and Tom Scarlett. Loved Brother and Brother-in law of the late Nita and Gordon King, Vera Dreyer (Akld), and Irene Scarlett (Gold Coast). Loved Brother-in law of Joy and Graham Shirley (Nelson), Susan Henderson and Bill Thomas (Nelson) and Ann and Grant Searle (Palm Nth). Loved Uncle of 21 and Great Uncle of 13.

A great sportsman, educator and administrator.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Life Flight Trust would be appreciated and may be left at the service.

A service for Fred will be held at Old Saint Pauls, Mulgrave Street, Thorndon on Thursday 28 August at 11am, thereafter private cremation.
