On January 26th 2013 peacefully following a long and hard fought battle.

Dearly loved husband and soul mate of Val for 45 years, much loved father and father in law of Mandy & Ray, Danny & Sonja, and proud grandfather of Ella, loved brother of Peter (deceased), and Joan and Trevor Tyler, and sadly missed by all his extended family and friends.

A funeral service for Phil will be held at the Founders Chapel of Remembrance, Rickit Street, Taupo on Friday (1st February) at 2:00pm followed by private cremation.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Prostate Cancer Foundation would be appreciated and may be left at the service or sent to PO Box 11006, Musselburgh, Dunedin 9049.
