La Hood, Saba (Fred)
Passed away suddenly on Wednesday 2 May, aged 73 years.

Much loved husband of Marie, his wife of 43 years. Loving father to Melissa, Dale, Justin and Greg, and father-in-law to Megan, Kathee and Joanne. Devoted Jidi (Grandfather) to Vincent and Joel, Chloe and Zac, Saffron and Tristan. He also will be dearly missed by his brothers and their wives Joe, Gordon and Beverley, Richard and Mary, and their children.

He was the life-force of his family and his big heart, generosity and larger-than-life personality touched all those who had the fortune to know him, either personally or in his professional capacity as a doctor.

Saba's funeral service will be at Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, 24 Hill Street, Thorndon, Wellington on Tuesday 8 May 2012 at 10.30am followed by burial at Akatarawa Cemetery.
