Bownes, Torema (nee Samuel). Passed away peaacefully on Friday 21st October 2011.

Beloved wife of the late Thomas and mother of Maureen and Caroline and Shane. Loving grandmother of Bohn, Jackson, Joseph and her mokopuna in NZ and the Cook Islands. Loving sister of Tearii Halligan. Will be missed by all her family and friends.

A Service for Torema will be held at the Cockburn Street Chapel, corner of Onepu Rd and Cockburn St, Kilbirnie on Tuesday 25th October 2011 at 10:00am followed by burial at Makara Cemetery.
