Passed away peacefully on 9 February 2009 at Mary Potter Hospice, aged 83 years.

Dearly loved husband of the late Elizabeth Rose. Wonderful father and father-in-law of Lynne & David Freeman, and Jane Gill. Cherished Grandad of Kiwa and Kimberley.

Special thanks to the staff at Mary Potter Hospice, and to Ted Nicholls, for their companionship and care.

A funeral service for Uppy will be held at the Cockburn Street Chapel, cnr Cockburn St & Onepu Rd, Kilbirnie, on Monday 16 February at 11.00am.
Thereafter private cremation.
