On Friday 28 December 2018, David aged 53, much loved husband of Berna and cherished dad of Esperanza,  passed away courageously at Mary Potter Hospice following a long battle with cancer.

David also leaves behind his parents Harold and Thonny, siblings Cathy, Marryen and Howard, and extended families/whanau Louw, Theunissen, Redman, Smit and many friends.

A service to celebrate David’s life will be held on Friday 11 January at 11:00 in Wellington at Old St Paul’s Church, Mulgrave Street Thorndon, followed by private cremation.
