On 17 September 2006 at Gisborne Hospital, aged 65.

Dearly loved eldest son of the late Irvine & Gladys Aston. Loved brother and friend of Morry Aston and Trish Dallas (Wgtn). Loved uncle of Kelleigh (Wgtn) and Anita (South Africa).

Our sincerest thanks to the doctors, nursing staff and palliative care staff at Gisborne Hospital for taking such wonderful care of Brian through his illness.

A service to celebrate Brian's life will be held at Old St Paul’s, 34 Mulgrave Street, Thorndon, Wellington on Thursday, 21 September at 1.30pm followed by interment at Whenua Tapu.

In lieu of flowers donations for the Gisborne Hospital Palliative Care Unit may be left at the service or posted c/o Gisborne Hospital, Private Bag, Gisborne.
